Watch Schedule
A 24-hour roster planner for each crew role, checked hour by hour against the MLC minimum rest rules and the number needed on deck. For a passage, the underway watch bill is built and checked in the passage plan.
Key capabilities
What it does
- Hour-by-hour work and rest pattern per role, with templates for in port and at anchor
- Checks each row: 10 h rest in 24 h, 77 h in 7 days, at most two rest periods, one of 6 h
- Checks the minimum number on deck through the covered hours
- Rebalance offers several compliant options to choose from
- Ask for a change in plain words; the code builds and checks the new rows
- Compare the plan with recorded Hours of Rest; save and export as PDF
- Passage Plans: underway watch bill with leaders and lookouts, checked per person and day

Anything it would change comes back as a card first. Nothing is saved until you press Approve.
Why it mattersA roster that breaks the rest rules is caught while it is still a plan. The counting is done by code, so the hours shown are the hours in the grid.
