Record an SOP
Stand at the equipment and answer one question at a time, each with a photo and a few words. The AI writes the SOP from your answers and your approved manuals, and only from those.
Key capabilities
What it does
- One question at a time: what do you do first, any danger, how do you know it worked, how do you stop it
- Each answer is a photo plus a few words, spoken or typed. Skip what you do not know
- Short steps, one action each. Your danger becomes a warning before its step
- Make an SOP from a manual: it uses the approved manual linked to the equipment and shows the page of every step
- The source of every step is shown: the crew, the manual page, or the photo
- The AI is told not to guess numbers; anything not from the crew or the manual is flagged for you to check. A pressure, temperature or time the crew did not say and the manual does not give is flagged
- Missing answers and missing numbers become Check this flags. An SOP with an open flag cannot be approved
- You see the draft as a card first. Nothing is saved until you press Approve

Why it mattersThe people who know the job are rarely the people who write procedures. This way the knowledge goes straight from the deck or the engine room into an SOP, and the captain only has to check it.
See Hey Captain in action.
