Refit / Yard Period
A project tracker for the yard period. Each job carries its contractor, dates, priority, status and money trail, quoted, approved and invoiced to date, so you can see what the refit costs against what was approved.
Key capabilities
What it does
- Jobs by location with contractor, description, start and target dates, priority and status
- Quoted, approved and invoiced to date per job, totalled by location and for the whole refit
- Enter the owner-approved budget to see approved spend against it, with an over-budget warning
- Photos and documents per job; non-image files are also filed in Documents
- Warranty dates and handover sign-off notes on completion
- Link a job to equipment and create a linked To Do task
- Start and target dates on the Calendar, overdue in red; PDF export for owner or management

- Add a refit job: teak deck repair on the aft deck, contractor Marina Yard Works, quoted 18,500.
- How much has been invoiced on the refit so far and what is overdue?
- Mark the stabiliser overhaul complete, invoiced 42,000.
Anything it would change comes back as a card first. Nothing is saved until you press Approve.
Why it mattersThe yard period is where the largest sums are spent and most easily lost track of. This keeps every job, quote and invoice in one costed record.
