Budget
The vessel's annual operating budget, laid out on the usual yacht cost categories and tracked month by month against actual spend. The Shipyard / Refit line fills itself from the Refit module.
Key capabilities
What it does
- Annual budget on standard yacht categories (Crew, Engineering, Deck, Interior, Galley, Fuel, Berthing, Insurance and more), with your own sub-lines and categories
- Twelve monthly actuals per line, edited in place
- Budget, actual to date, remaining and variance per line, per category and for the whole vessel
- On-track bar comparing budget used with the share of the year gone
- Shipyard / Refit line pulls invoiced spend from Refit / Yard Period, with no double entry
- Ask the AI Assistant for spend against budget, or to post an expense; a bunkering logged from a BDN posts its cost to the fuel line
- Annual budget exported as a PDF for the owner or management

Anything it would change comes back as a card first. Nothing is saved until you press Approve.
Why it mattersMost operating budgets live in a spreadsheet that falls behind. Here the figures sit next to the work that creates them, so budget against actual is current whenever the owner or management asks.
